EuMINe at MSE 2026: Call for Abstracts & Support Available!

Join us in Darmstadt for Symposium D08 on AI-Driven Innovation. Financial support available for selected oral presentations.

We are excited to announce that the EuMINe COST Action will play a leading role at the upcoming Materials Science and Engineering (MSE 2026) congress, taking place in Darmstadt, Germany, in October 2026.

MSE is one of the premier events in the European materials community, hosting approximately 1,200 participants. Within the strategic topic of “Digitalization”, members of the EuMINe network are organizing the following Symposium:

This symposium will be the central hub for discussing the future of data-centric materials science, automation, and AI workflows.

📢 Call for Abstracts: We Support Your Participation!

We strongly encourage interested researcher, especially Young Researchers and Innovators (YRIs), to submit abstracts for Oral Presentations in our symposium.

Who Can Apply? This call is open to everyone. Whether you are already a EuMINe member or an external researcher interested in joining our network, we encourage you to participate. This is the perfect opportunity to get involved with the European Materials Informatics Network!

Funding Opportunity: To support active participation, EuMINe will reimburse selected participants, according to COST rules, to cover, travel, living and accommodation costs.

The grants will be awarded to the best abstracts selected for oral presentation. The selection will prioritize strong alignment with EuMINe objectives (data standardization, informatics, AI) and works resulting from collaborative efforts between different institutions within the EuMINe network.

📝 How to Apply

Please submit your abstract via the official conference portal by January 30th 2026.

  1. Go to the submission portal: Submit Abstract Here
