EuMINe COST Action Second General Meeting – 16-18 July 2025 (Aveiro, Portugal)

We are pleased to announce the EuMINe COST Action Second General Meeting, dedicated to fostering collaborative research and knowledge exchange within the European Materials Informatics Network.

This meeting aims to unite a diverse community of researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and industry collaborators, all driven by the common objective of advancing materials informatics for the development of advanced materials. In this Second General Meeting, ongoing collaborative work within the EuMINe COST Action will be showcased with the objective of further exploring collaborative research and knowledge exchange. The event will encompass keynote lectures, selected oral communications, poster presentations, and round table discussions.

The program will spotlight the progress and vision of each EuMINe Working Group:

  • Materials Informatics and Data-Driven Technologies
    Driving data-centric innovation in advanced materials development.
  • Collaborative Research and AI-Driven Methods
    Exploring cutting-edge AI and machine learning approaches in materials discovery.
  • Shared Methods and Policies
    Standardizing tools, best practices, and frameworks across Europe.
  • Materials Data Structuring & Management
    Focusing on metadata, data formatting, and efficient knowledge transfer.

We look forward to your active participation in making the EuMINe Second General Meeting to discuss and harness the field of Materials Informatics!

💸 Financial Support

The EUMINE Cost Action is pleased to provide the opportunity for reimbursement to participants (travel expenses coverage and daily allowance), supporting their attendance at the meeting:

  • Invited speakers, Management Committee (MC) members and EuMINe Core Group (CG) members
  • Working Group (WG) and other participants will be selected for reimbursement upon the following criteria:
    • Active participation in the meeting by submitting an abstract. The presenting author will only be considered for reimbursement.
    • Gender, age, and geographic inclusivity (ITC/NNC balance)
    • Potential contribution to the COST Action goals
